BD Momentum sagged with gear and hurt their hips outside, and pinched their inner thighs when hanging.

Uses the Momentum as a beater: cheap, extremely comfortable, flat for slab and volume circuits, but loose with a blocky toe and no toe rubber.
Has only climbed in rentals and their BD Momentums, which keep treating them well after many months.
The Momentums were their first shoe and they're just bad; Black Diamond does many things right but shoes aren't one of them.
Has a pair of Momentums and has been very happy with them as a newish V5-ish climber; the lack of toe rubber turned out not to be the limitation they suspected.
Sees the Momentum as a beginner shoe: fine for easy climbs and warm-ups, but not for more advanced techniques.
Uses their Momentums only for speed climbing; doesn't like them for anything involving heels, toes or harder climbing.
Started in BD Momentums and loved the comfort until the rubber finally wore down to nothing.
Their street-size 10.5 Momentums fit perfectly and never got looser; wore the rubber out before resoling.
Their street-size Momentums are very comfortable, maybe too comfortable, sometimes forgetting to take them off; the sole gives a bit when standing on small footholds with the toe tip.
Found the Momentums fit weird and returned them; notes they're synthetic.
Wore the Momentum for about four months and loved it: fit like a glove, super sticky rubber that wore well; only complaint is the Velcro stopped working on one shoe after four months of climbing 3-4 times a week.
Their Momentums fit their toes perfectly but not their heel, and they find them very slippery.
After two months in the entry-level BD shoe they haven't noticed rubber issues; the heel cup is a little big, making heel hooks tricky, but overall pretty happy.
Their first shoe, the Momentum, had a heel that fit like a sack and slipped off on hooks; liked the low-profile toe and overall comfort but wouldn't buy again.
The Momentums were their first shoes and they found them awful; would steer beginners away.
Bought the Momentum and finds it affordable and perfectly fine for a beginner who doesn't want to spend a fortune.
The Momentum was their first shoe and was great for their first few years of climbing.
Their daily-driver gym shoes for laps are BD Momentums, which they find way more durable than Tarantulas.
New Momentums run much bigger than the old ones: went from EU 41 to EU 39.
Their BD Momentums lasted 4 months at 3 days a week before the first hole; fine as a cheap starter but far below La Sportiva or Scarpa.
Started out in BD Momentums and they served them well for indoor bouldering.
Their first shoes, Black Diamond Momentums, were comfy but fell apart in under four months when the glue holding the rubber to the fabric failed.
