Uses the Phantom indoors as their stiffer shoe; their toes feel better in it than in the Drago LV because it's asymmetric.
Has used the Phantom for about a year and the rubber just doesn't last.
The Phantom is their workhorse shoe: much stiffer than a Drago and has lasted about three years with a resole.
Has had the Shaman Velcro, Shaman Pro and Phantom; the Phantom is the stiffest by far and still their choice for power through the toe on dynamic vertical moves at 90-95 kg.
Has two pairs of Phantoms that perform amazingly and fit almost perfectly, just a touch narrow in the toe box.
Has OG Phantoms and loves the power they give on the board and overhanging cave routes, though street size is a bit tight in the midsole.
Wears the standard Phantom half a size over street: properly tight and one of the hardest shoes to break in, with very rigid toes.
On a second pair of Phantoms half a size under street and does really well in them; breaks in after a few sessions with a snug toe box and a heel that fits perfectly.
Much prefers the Phantom to the Shaman Pro; the Shaman is a bit stiffer with a deeper heel, and the Phantom's split tongue is easier to put on.
Has a pair of Phantoms but finds them kind of stiff.
Just got some Phantoms to try after years in Shamans and likes them a lot.
As a light 55 kg climber, finds the Phantom plank-stiff: impossible to feel anything underfoot.
Has the Shaman Velcro and Phantoms; the Phantom's shallower, narrower heel fits them best.
Phantoms feel terrible new but get much softer over time; with very narrow heels and wide toes they fit nicely once broken in, and they prefer them to their Instinct VSR on the Kilter board.
Had Phantoms: great at overhangs and edging but bad for everything else, like putting their foot in a cast, so stiff and heavy.
The Phantom fits their Egyptian foot with no complaints and gives lots of power, but isn't pointy enough and has a high toe stack, making slots and angled footholds hard.
Loves the original Phantoms and uses them for outdoor bouldering.
Fresh pairs of Phantoms hurt with their long toes, but within a couple of weeks they fit like a glove.
After baggy Skwama heels, they landed on the Evolv Phantom and absolutely love it; the heel fits perfectly for heel hooking.
Wears Phantoms at street size and the heel fits their medium heel perfectly, unlike Scarpa and La Sportiva.
Regular Phantoms weren't as good for smearing as the Phantom Pro, though the thicker rubber should last longer.
Phantoms at street size were their most painful shoe at first but broke in nicely after a few weeks.
Phantoms fit their wide feet with narrow heel great.
Finds the standard Phantom closure the most comfortable on the market with full performance; current pair has lasted over a year.
Owns the Phantom as their stiff pair and finds it extremely stiff; it isn't really for their style, and they prefer the Zenist and Shaman.
