Owns both and much prefers the Gomi: the Acro Comps' heel angle cuts into their Achilles during long gym sessions, but they still use the stiffer Acros outdoors where shoes come off between tries.

Their Acro Comps (wide) are falling apart after less than a year and have always been hard on their pinky toe, despite hoping they'd suit wide feet.

Had a pair of Acro Comps and calls them the worst climbing shoes they've owned.

After months indoors and out: talon toe excellent on overhangs, Neo Fuse rubber very sticky and fairly durable (slick when cold), heel digs in at first then great, soft and sensitive; fully recommends it and it's cheaper than rivals.

Has worn the Acro Comp (narrow fit) for years: the toe fits perfectly, but there is space in the heel.

“I’ve worn the Butora acro comp LV for years and have the same problem. The toe fits perfectly so I deal with the heel.”
