With about an 80 lb weight difference, they were big fans of the Ohm, though it had a learning curve: the climber had to pull rope gently to avoid short-roping and the belayer had to work to give soft catches.

Has used the Ohm for a big weight difference between climber and belayer; says it is good too, though it can short-rope the climber a lot.
Uses an Ohm when belaying heavier partners who will hang a lot, finding it takes a lot of weight out of the system and off their harness.
