Found the Kubo pretty good for toe hooks.
The women's Kubo gives them probably the most snug heel fit they've had from La Sportiva, though the forefoot is tight.
The Kubo is underrated: performs well above expectations and fits their narrow heels better than the Skwama; the LV version's rubber is a bit stickier.
Wanted a workhorse shoe and the Kubo won: similar fit to the Skwama and pretty soft.
Switched from a flat shoe to the moderate Kubo, with slight downturn and split sole, and finds them fantastic.
Returned painful Evolvs and got the Kubo, which fit much better even half a size down.
Tried the Kubo and a Scarpa and chose the Kubo for its snugger fit; wearable all day yet feels like a second skin, and they're very happy with it.
Went half a size up in the Kubo; loves the Velcro, the less painful break-in and the more precise toe than gym shoes.
Switched to the Kubo after wearing through Veloces whose heel was baggy; the Kubo fits their Greek foot with narrow heel much better.
Loves the Kubo: wearable for hours, even belaying outdoors, with a great edge without too much curve; slightly oversized since the toe patch was stiff at first and it stretched a good bit.
Recently got Kubos at V4-6 and really likes them: slightly downturned, super comfortable after about two months, sized down 1.5.
Has used the Kubo and thinks it's close to perfect for indoor non-comp routes: comfy, does everything well and stiff enough for small footholds.
Thinks the Kubo isn't worth the money, way overpriced for the build quality; would rather have Katanas or Otakis.
Didn't like the Kubo despite its popularity: the roomy heel left a 3/4-inch gap on their shallow heel, making heel hooks nearly impossible.
Likes the Kubo as a step up from beginner shoes; sized down two, still comfortable enough to belay a top-roper while wearing them.
Enjoys the Kubo's snug fit under the bridge of the foot.
Wouldn't recommend the Kubo for their foot: dead space around the heel to the point it pops off on heel hooks.
Climbed 7-8 months in the Kubo: started small, then shaped to their foot and felt super good; they really enjoyed it until wearing a hole that needed a resole.
45+ sessions in women's Kubos since May: they molded and softened but gained no length, and toes go numb quickly; wishes they'd gone a half size up.
New Kubos in 37.5 feel tighter than their Kiras and the heel rubbing the Achilles is very uncomfortable while breaking them in.
Has Kubos one size down and will never buy again: usable but can't wear them long, they hurt and barely stretch.
Feet went numb after 30-45 minutes in brand-new Kubos; standing on an edge hurt.
Kubo one size down started tight and is now comfy tight, never painful; stretched quite a bit but leaves dead space at their heel.
Downsized from 46 to 44 in Kubos; within a month they went from painful to fitting like a glove.
Chose the Kubo after trying others; fits like a glove on one foot and noticeably improved sensitivity on small holds.
Had to size up in Kubos and they're still uncomfortable, though they like the stickiness more than their Tarantulaces.
Quite likes their Kubos: struggled to smear at first but fine once broken in and much nicer for edging than beginner shoes; heel cup too big for them.
Bought Kubos on sale; toes fit fine but the heel is a tad too big for their small heel.
Uses the women's Kubo with XS Grip 2: basically an upgraded Tarantula with much nicer rubber, rarely slipping on small holds.
Replaced Tarantulas with Kubos a year ago, downsized a bit, and finds them great.
Recently tried their Kubos for indoor bouldering and finds them great.
With a longer second toe, Kubos fit them well; they stretch when you sweat, so round down half a size.
Kubos one full size down had an unpleasant 4-5 session break-in but are perfect now.
Kubos one size down were really painful for 5-10 sessions, then stretched and now they love them.
On their 2nd pair of Kubos with a Roman foot; the wide toe box is very comfortable, though it doesn't stretch much.
Currently climbing in Kubos and loves them; recommends them for a stiffer toe box.
Wears Kubos at street size, about a year at 3 times a week, already resoled; tight but not painful.
Wears Kubos at street size; they get comfortable by the 5th session and slightly loose after about 6 months.
Pain was 10/10 when new, but after 5-6 climbs their Kubos are comfy and molded perfectly to their foot.
Their Kubos felt like a moderate middle-ground shoe that performed well on overhang and slab alike.
Kubos rubbed under the big toenails at first, comfortable after 4-5 sessions.
Kubos are the most comfortable yet stable shoe they've had.

Kubos 2 sizes down are a perfect mix of comfort and performance.
Kubos as first real shoe after Finales: no issues with friction or toe hooks.
Loves their red and green Kubos.
Shredded one of the heel loops on their Kubos doing heel hooks on a volume.
Loving the new Kubos: perfect for wide flat toes and narrow heel.
Loves their Kubos; great for wide feet.
Kubos were their first pair nearly 3 years ago, replaced this year.
Loves the Kubos. (first-hand owner comment)
Kubos great after a year; not very stretchy, so don't downsize much.
On their second pair of Kubos; great beginner-to-intermediate shoe.
Got their Kubos resoled twice and loves them.
Kubos 2 sizes down stretched into comfy gym shoes.
Kubos are comfy enough but hurt toes after a while.
Loves their Kubos; tight at first, perfect after 4-5 sessions.
Kubos 2 sizes down felt terrible at first but broke in; could have gone smaller.
Kubos permanently deformed their big toe from the rubber seam over the knuckle.
Moved to Kubos for a stiffer, slightly curved, better-made shoe; it has helped their overhang and especially slab bouldering.
Kubos hurt their toes a bit at first but feel pretty good after a few sessions.
