Has used the Solution for over two years in the gym and on easy trad: great, super comfy to the point of forgetting it's on, and the fixed leg loops fit without fuss; enough room for a simple rack.
Uses the Solution in the gym and for rock, ice and alpine: lightweight, comfortable, didn't soak up much moisture, good value on sale; the waist clasp can be a pain and trad climbers may want more loops.
Their women's Solution fit well for a long time and they planned to buy the same model again when the belay loop showed wear.
Their Solution's waist got pulled down too far with rope drag, and the next size down with a better waist made the leg loops too tight, so they switched brands.
Bought the Solution after their Petzl Luna wore out; for single-pitch sport with lots of projecting and belaying it's pretty comfy, and the leg loops suit fairly athletic thighs.
Compared side by side with their Arc'teryx AR-395a, finds the Solution much more comfortable to sit in; regrets choosing the Arc'teryx.
Their BD Solution fits well apart from a bit of a wiggle to get it over the butt.
Finds the Solution really comfy and functional; the fixed leg loops need more precise sizing but are more streamlined and comfortable than the Momentum's buckled ones.
Loves the Solution, but sized up for their thighs and the extra waist belt length digs into the hips when racked up; finds fixed leg loops forgiving for larger thighs.
With a waist under 24 inches, the Solution in XXS was the only harness that fit them properly.
The Solution has very wide, comfy leg loops and is the most comfortable harness they've tried at a good price point.
Finds the Solution leagues better than the Technician or Momentum: leg straps are wider and stiff but supple.
Found the Solution so uncomfortable with thick thighs.
Loved the Solution, but it doesn't suit larger thighs with a smaller waist.
Sizes the Solution to their legs and pulls the waist all the way in with no twisting; the leg elastic loosens with time and BD's higher waist helps.
Climbed in the Solution for many years until their thighs outgrew BD's waist-to-leg ratio.
Calls the Solution a fantastic, tried and true harness they go back to for comfort in the gym despite owning two Arc'teryx harnesses; the fixed leg loops are roomier on the BD.
Loves their Solution harness: lightweight and comfy.
Enjoyed their women's Solution's comfort for two years, but it gradually became uncomfortable to the point of thigh and waist pain when sitting or belaying, possibly from wear.
Has had a Solution for about a year with no noticeable loss of comfort.
Their Solution's leg-loop elastic is wrinkled too, but after four years of climbing in it the harness is totally fine.
Their legs fill a medium Solution and the leg-loop elastic was blown out in a week, though it's not load-bearing.
The leg-loop elastic on their Solution is wrinkled as well, which they consider purely cosmetic.
Loved their Black Diamond Solution for the gym, but had to size up for their thighs, leaving the waist loose.
Ended up getting the BD Solution: very comfortable and adapts to the legs so you don't feel it.
Currently uses the BD Solution and finds it very comfortable for indoor and outdoor lead climbing.
Finds the BD Solution a very comfortable harness for them.
A big fan of the Black Diamond Solution; the bigger gear loops on the new version are a big improvement.
