Their Aquila's five gear loops are excellent for a double rack, though it's a little pinchy on the hips.
Has the Aquila and a Corax; chose the Aquila for its loops, features and light weight, and has had no issues on 6-hour multipitch trad with a double rack.
Used the Petzl Aquila for lead rope soloing last year with no issues.
Has used the AQUILA for three seasons of moderately hard use and loves it: five big gear loops for racking and adjustable leg loops; despite concerns about the gear loop design, theirs are holding up well.
“I really like the 5 big gear loops for racking. Yes, the design of the gear loops is a bit problematic. I've had mine for 3 seasons of moderately hard use, and they're still holding up well.”
Calls the AQUILA perfect: wore it on the Nose and for sport climbing, and it is their only harness.
At around 200 lb, likes the Petzl AQUILA.
